My name is Guillermo Caraveo. I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1999 with a B.A. in Economics and then in 2000 with an M.B.A in Finance. In 2003, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a J.D.
After graduating from law school, I enlisted in the Navy and served for six years as a Chinese linguist. After I was honorably discharged, I worked for a defense contractor and have also become a real estate investor.
In 2012, I pseudononymously wrote a book detailing how I enlisted in the Navy to repay my college loans. The book is entitled Enlisting Out of Debt: A College Loan Repayment Story. The book outlines the entire process that I used to enlist in the Navy. The book also describes the challenges that I faced before my college loans were paid off.
